Broken Link Report

All websites have errors and mistakes, broken links and dead pages. These issues may be commonplace but they are anything but customer friendly. Broken parts of your website could be scaring away your customer base without you even knowing it. You might try to keep an eye on your website but it can be easy for things to fall through the cracks. A page could expire or a button could break and you could not even know it. In order to ensure that your website is performing at its best we recommend a scan of your entire website for any dead links that could lead to customer frustration. Here is how to run the test:

  1. Go to Free Broken Link Checker and enter your website URL into the bar and run the test.
  1. It will scan all of your web pages and look for any dead links that cannot be followed.
  1. Hopefully the report will come back without any broken links but if there are any then you will need to go into the back end of your website and fix any links that are currently not working. For more information on how you can fix broken links click here for additional help.

This might seem like a trivial test to run, but you would be surprised by the number of websites that have broken links and are driving customers away without even knowing it. Don’t be one of those websites, and keep an eye on this test. By getting on top of this issue you can avoid a problem before it ever starts.
